Our Work
The The JARO Project is a nonprofit organization that aims to make sports and outdoor activities more accessible to underserved children. We are dedicated to providing these children with the opportunity to explore the world around them in a safe and supportive environment.
Over the past few years, we've been able to reach hundreds of children through free surf camps, soccer clinics, and youth sports registrations. We are also in the process of expanding our reach to include additional activities such as outdoor education and leadership training. Our goal is to create a lasting impact on each and every child we work with.

FREE SURF CAMPS
Dedicated to empowering underserved youth to live more fulfilling lives. Our mission is to foster a sense of community and connection to the outdoors through action sports and mentorship.
Since 2021, we have hosted several free surf camps in San Diego. These camps have provided an opportunity for underserved youth to learn to surf, gain confidence, and build relationships with volunteer surfers. We are committed to providing these camps to as many communities as possible.
We are dedicated to providing safe spaces and resources that will empower and inspire young people to reach their full potential. We have partnered with Sweetwater Highschool Head Soccer Coach Diego Espinoza to provide free soccer clinics to underserved youth. Our goal is to provide a platform for young people to build self-esteem, develop skills and gain confidence.

FREE SOCCER CLINICS

We are committed to helping youth in our community stay active and engaged in sports. We recognize the importance of physical activity to the wellbeing of young people and have made it our mission to provide financial assistance to dozens of youth who have been impacted by financial hardships. We are dedicated to making sure everyone has the opportunity to participate in sports regardless of their socio-economic background.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
We are dedicated to providing resources, guidance, and a safe space for young people.
We strive to make a difference for young people in terms of mental health and wellbeing, and during the COVID lockdowns we hosted virtual events, raffles, and giveaways to help promote youth mental health.
